I should know better! Santa ornament update #1

I should know better than to leave my cross stitch unattended when I leave the room! One of the cats or dog nibbled on my Santa ornament! Maybe it was the yummy plastic canvas that couldn't be resisted. Thank goodness the needle was still in the ornament and not in someone's throat! I'm going to finish it anyway, and the tree just won't have a star on top. Oh well.....

Oh, dear! Maybe you can put a tiny piece of perforated paper or even iada under and stitch over... the tree must have a star!

Our cat Frasier loves to chew on plastic. In fact not much is safe around him and I have learned that lesson a few times. Got to love our little fur babies. LOL

Thanks for the idea, Evalina. I cut a piece of the plastic canvas from the corner and stitched it to the top of the tree so it can have a star after all!

EEK! I'm SO glad your furry friends are ok. I've caught our not-much-more-than-a-puppy mini schnauzer a time or two with a needle in her mouth. I never know where she finds them, and I never know how she doesn't stick it through her tongue. It makes me shudder just to think about it!

Your stitching is beautiful!!!
